Parks Department Announces Muehlhausen Aquatic Center Dates & More for Summer 2025

The Logansport Parks & Recreation Department has announced the schedule for aquatic programs at Muehlhausen Aquatic Center (MAC) located in Muehlhausen Park, 721-21st Street.  The Muehlhausen Aquatic Center opens for the season on June 3rd! Public hours for the pool are from Noon-6 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday, closed on Mondays. The splash pad opens on May 23rd.  Cost of admission is $5 for adults 18 and over; $3 for ages 5-17; and free admission for children under 5. The splash pad is free. Multi-visit passes are available at a fee of $50 for 20 visits or $95 for 50 visits.  If a multi-visit pass purchased in 2024 still has unused visits, those will be honored in 2025. The MAC Managers would like to remind you of the following:

•    Visitors should come ready to swim, and keep valuables at home; Basket room will be closed.  

•    Lounge chairs will be available, though chairs are limited.

•    Do not come to the pool if you’re feeling sick or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.

•    Keep your hands clean by washing regularly with soap and water, or using 60% alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

•    Free swim passes may also be awarded through the library’s Summer Reading Program.  Contact the Logansport-Cass County Public Library for more information.

Swim lessons are available for children ages 4 –14, which will promote foundational swimming techniques, water safety and physical fitness at different skill levels. Two-week lessons are offered beginning 6/17 to 6/27; 7/1 to 7/11; and 7/22 to 8/1—both am and pm times available. Fee is $40 per session. 

Lessons for children 3 and under are also available through our “Mini & Me” classes held 6/10 to 6/13 or 7/15th to 7/18. Fee is $40 per session and guides a parent or caregiver with their infant/child through water skills such as buoyancy, propulsion, and breath control, while nurturing a child’s affinity for water play.
