Improvement Projects Taking Place at Bishop Park

The Logansport Parks & Recreation Department has announced that a new basketball court and a new picnic pavilion are being constructed at Bishop Park.  Bishop Park is located at the corner of 18th and Jefferson Streets.

The Parks Department requests the public refrain from use while construction is taking place.  Demolition of the old shelter will follow the construction of the new shelter.  New electrical service will be installed to the new shelter. Then, new basketball goals will be installed and court lines will be painted at a later date according to the contractor.  

These projects are being paid for through the Parks Department’s annual budget for 2024.  The Logansport Redevelopment Commission is paying for the installation of the shelter.
