Parks Department Announces Changes to Summer Programs

The Logansport Parks & Recreation Department has announced changes to the weekly schedule for summer programs 2024. Evening classes have been cancelled due to low participation including: Green Guardians, evening Drop-In Sports, and evening Walking Club. 

•    Mondays:        Walking Club & Drop-In Sports

•    Tuesdays:        Pop-Up Arts Class 

•    Wednesdays:    Park in a Box 

•    Thursdays:     Walking Club & Pop-Up Art Class

•    Fridays:        Arts & Recreation Creations 

Art Class is $2/project all other programs are FREE. Morning Walking Club is a collaboration with the Cass County Health Department. Participants will be able to check their vitals before and after the walk. 

Monday:  9-10am Walking Club- Huston Park-Meet at McNarny Pavilion,

10-11am Drop-In Sports-Fairview Park with 3 (three) sessions ages 4-6years 9-9:30am, 7-10years 9:30-10am, & 11-14 years 10-10:45am (parents must sign waiver to participate) meet at Security Federal Pavilion.

Tuesday: 10-11am Pop-Up Art Classes $2/project-Huston Park-McNarny Pavilion,

Wednesday: 9-10, & 10:30-11:30 Park in a Box-alternating between Riverside Park & Huston Park,

Thursday: 9-10am Walking Club-9-10am-Huston Park-meet at McNarny Pavilion,

10-11am Pop-Up Art Class-Spencer Park $2/project-meet at picnic tables near green building,

Friday: Arts & Recreation Creations-Go to Facebook for a new video each week.
