Muehlhausen Playground Replacement Begins February 12th

The Logansport Parks & Recreation Department has announced that demolition & construction work will begin on the Muehlhausen Park Playground starting the week of February 12th. The current playground which was originally built in the late nineties, will be removed, except for the swings & cornhole courts.  Installation of the new playground will follow.  The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of March.  All construction work is weather permitting. 

This playground is part of the 2023 budget of the Logansport Parks & Recreation Department.  Parks Maintenance Staff is completing this construction instead of hiring contractors to install the playground, saving the City of Logansport that significant expense. 

Parks Administrator Janet Fawley requests that the public keep out of the designated construction area until the playground has been opened.
