Kevin Price
Maintenance Superintendent-parksmaintenance@cityoflogansport.org
As the maintenance superintendent for the Parks Department for many years, Kevin Price has grown to appreciate how vital parks and outdoor recreation really are to our wellbeing.
Growing up in Logansport, the parks were a staple in his early development. He enjoyed spending long days swimming at Tower Pool, playing with friends on the playground equipment at Riverside Park, and then spending the evenings playing a pickup game of baseball or basketball at Bishop Park.
Now as a father of 2, the focus is on how to make our parks more accommodating for kids and families that are looking for outdoor activities. Always trying to find new ways to further the development of the crew, and finding creative ways to accomplish our goals.
Theodore Roosevelt said, "When you are asked if you can do a job, tell ’em, ‘Certainly I can!’ Then get busy and find out how to do it." With that mindset we can grow not only as an individual, but as a community and leave a lasting legacy for the next generation.
