Driveway Closed to the Public at the Spencer Park Lower Shelter During Construction

The Logansport Parks & Recreation Department has announced that work will begin on the Lower Shelter at Spencer Park starting the week of February 19th.  This work will be completed by Steinberger Construction and Shepler Construction under the plans established by KJG Architecture.  Work will primarily include the stabilization of the building.  

The contractors for the work require the driveway down to the lower level be closed.  Consequently, that driveway will be closed to the public effective immediately throughout the entire construction project.  The street level parking lot will remain open. We appreciate the public’s cooperation with this necessary step.

Parks Administrator Janet Fawley requests that the public keep out of the designated construction area until the pavilion has been re-opened.
