  • Bishop Park

    This 5 acre park is located at 18th Street and Jefferson Street in Logansport, IN. Facilities include a basketball court, a picnic shelter, and a handicap accessible playground.

     


  • Cole Park

    This is a small ¼ acre park that has been landscaped and named for the Cole Family. The family matriarch, Jean has been an avid supporter of this park with her own plantings over the years. Since the spring of 2007, the park has had a beautiful Italian marble fountain and professional landscaping in honor of the Cole Family’s continued support.

  • Dykeman Park

    This 3-acre community park has facilities that include a limited scope playground, park restrooms (handicap accessible), a covered and partially indoor picnic shelter and a trail system. Dykeman Park offers a quiet and peaceful walk along the golf course. Walkers are encouraged to park at the west end of the lane by the pavilions. Walking distance from the west parking lot to the front gate and back: 1.5 miles.


  • Fairview Park

    This 20 acre community park is currently home to several baseball leagues, utilizing 4 baseball fields. Facilities also include two (2) tennis courts, two (2) basketball courts, a football/soccer field and two (2) picnic shelters.

    Programs/Special events Fairview is the home of the Logansport Cal Ripken League with two (2) ballfields (Crain & Metz Fields), and Logansport Babe Ruth Baseball (Steinmen Field).

  • Heritage Park

    Heritage Park

    Heritage Preservation Park was developed in 1988 with the help of the Chamber of Commerce and the Cass County Realtors Associtation. Amenities include a gazebo, an historic fountain, electric pedestals, a drinking fountain, extensive landscaping and tree plantings, planters and benches.


  • Huston Park

    This is an 80 acre park which includes a playground with toddler swings, restrooms, trails, open space and a pavilion.


  • Little Turtle Waterway & Trail

    Little Turtle Waterway (LTW) covers 4.75 acres and over 1 mile of riverbank along the Wabash River in downtown Logansport.

  • Melbourne Park

    This 5-acre neighborhood park includes a playground, a softball field, bleachers, pressbox, concession area, and a basketball court. It is home to the Logansport’s Cherub Softball League for girls ages 7-10 years old.


  • Muehlhausen Park and Aquatic Center

    This 7-acre neighborhood park includes a playground, an eight-lane 26-meter swimming pool, water slide, bathhouse, splash pad, a softball field, bleachers, press box and concession area, two (2) sand volleyball courts, and two (2) basketball courts and a pavilion.

    Opening day for the 2020 season is Monday June 8th..see you there!

  • Patriot Park

    In 2003, the Parks Board renamed the combined land of the former Front St. Park and McKinley Park as Patriot Park, to honor all those who died from the attack on the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001. This 5 acre park includes a playground, swings, water fountain and two basketball courts. In addition, easy foot access for fishing in the Eel River is available.

  • Riverside Park

    Riverside Park

    In this 13-acre community park, facilities include the McHale Pavilion, the Historic Dentzel Carousel and a miniature train and track (Operated by the Cass County Dentzel Carousel Corporation). The addition of the new Cole Bridge, a softball field, (operated by a private lease) & concession stand, a handicap accessible playground, restrooms, a basketball court with a scoreboard & lights, miniature golf (operated by private lease), the shelter that used to house the Carousel & horseshoe pits. It is the location of the Annual BooFest.

    • Cass County Dentzel Carousel
      • The Cass County Carousel has been a part of our community since 1919. The Carousel was named a National Historic Landmark in 1987, making it the only one in Cass County. The 43 animals are unique and range in age. All the animals are hand carved. The Carousel was originally placed at Spencer Park from 1919 to 1949. It then moved to the Old Carousel Building at Riverside Park until it moved to it’s permanent home in 1995.
      • The Carousel is available for private rentals. Commemorative bricks and stones are also available. Unique gifts are available at the Carousel souvenir booth. Call the Carousel office for more details at 574-753-8725.

  • Spencer Park

    Spencer Park

    Spencer Park is one of the oldest parks in the system dating back to the 1890’s. Spencer Park was given to the City of Logansport by Wiliam Spencer in 1892. “ This is a very beautiful park covered with fine groves of native tress and has been improved by drives, walks and pavilions, and is a great resort for picnics and meetings of all kinds during the summer season.” (Powell, 1913) Through the years, it has been the home to the carousel, a skating rink, a concession stand and a dance floor. This 18-acre community park includes 1,200 feet of frontage on the Eel River. Facilities include two (2) playgrounds, a tennis court, a basketball goal, a gazebo, seven (7) picnic shelters, a maintenance storage building, large scale restrooms, horseshoes, shuffleboards, boat launch, water fountains and extensive landscaping.
